There are a number of types of soccer bets. While the ones we will list below are some of the most common, sportsbooks can make available additional bets or opt not to make some of the following available.

This is a combination bet from a selection of three, i.e. it’s built from the three selections. One noticeable difference is that it does not include singles. It includes three Double Bets and one Treble bet. Instead of just betting three singles you give yourself some extra bets. To get some kind of return you need a minimum of two selections to win from your three.
NB: When Placing A Trixie Bet You Are Actually Placing 4 Bets.

This is a bet that offers all possible combinations from a selection of three. In total it gives seven bets i.e. three single bets, three double bets, and a one treble bet. From just three winning selection you can get seven bets with a massive return.
NB: When Placing a Patent Bet You Are Actually Placing 7 Bets.

This is a bet made from all possible combination of four selections. It does not include singles. Therefore, a total of eleven bets make up a Yankee bet. It includes 6 Doubles, 4 Trebles and a Fourfold accumulator. When placing a stake, your unit stake will be applied to each of the eleven bets. So if you wanted a 1$ Yankee, it will cost you 11$ in stake
NB: When Placing a Yankee You Are Actually Placing 11 Bets

A Canadian (also known as a Super Yankee) consists of 26 bets involving 5 selections in different events. The bet includes 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 fourfold plus an accumulator. A minimum of 2 of your selections must be successful to get a return.

This is a bet placed some months, weeks or years before the events began.

This is a selection, sometimes referred to as a sure bet, that is fancied very much to win. This forms the cornerstone of a multiple bet.

It does not matter the time of scoring, whether a late goal equalizer or in the first few minutes of the game. It doesn’t matter how many, as long as they bag at least one each. The end result is of no consequence to us: we simply just want both of the teams to find the net. Whether it’s in the 1st minute or the 91st, it’s all good.
Any team can score against another: the unlucky own goal, the bizarre deflection, the 30-yard thunderbolt into the top corner, the wonderful textbook free kick… all of the football teams can score in any fashion

To ensure success in this market, it’s important to take the necessary steps that include the following critical success factors. (CSF)

This takes into account the average goals scored and conceded both home and away:

There is a need to ensure that there isn’t a huge disparity between the two teams involved. For teams in the relegation zone we still wouldn’t necessarily fancy them to trouble those at the top of the table.

Do two particular teams have a habit of scoring loads of goals when they meet? Perhaps the opposite is the case? Maybe the two sides have already met this season …. what was the score?

The smart punter adds precedent alongside research and common sense to their box of tricks to ensure they are betting logically.

Form is temporary, class is permanent, and so the old saying goes. True enough; but there’s plenty of value to be had in backing the ‘form horse’ too. If a certain team is banging in the goals then there’s no reason not to add them to your BTTS coupon. Likewise, if a team is struggling to find the net, or has a particularly solid defense, then avoid like the plague.

We’d all love our favorite clubs to have one, but in truth only the lucky few can find a proven goal scorer; That special kind of player who always seems to get on the score sheet no matter how their team are faring.

If the proven goal scorer is on form, then their respective teams have a great chance of scoring no matter where they are playing. On the flip-side, if the goal scorer is injured then their team tends to struggle to find an equally prolific replacement.
